Welcome

Leelanau County has much to offer from it's quaint Villages, gorgeous inland lakes and expansive Lake Michigan beaches, scenic parks, rural landscapes, wineries and more. 

Heather grew up in a Log Cabin (built by a Colonel in the United States Union Army) on North Lake Leelanau, after a few years living full time in "Drafty Rafters" they moved South for the winters, to a historic Victorian in Traverse City's Slab Town.

Lake Michigan Beach

Overlooking the Manitou Straits this public beach is a favorite of many, including Heather. In the distance you can see South and North Manitou Islands and if your eyesight is particularly good, you can see the "Crib" - a lighthouse channel marker (soon to open as an AirBnB.)
